The aim of the competition is to increase green travel to school and decrease use of cars. A few pointers:
Remember
After National Car Free day we decided to have our own Eyrecourt Car free day each month. This Tuesday was the first day and everyone took part!
This week's winners of the Golden Boot are Ms Hynes' class. Well done everyone!
A whopping 59 walkers over the 4 days easily beating last weeks winners in the senior room at 49 walkers. Today was Day 15 of our Big Travel Challenge. We never imagined the last 15 days would go so well. We submitted our entry and the results were amazing. One day 84% of the school walked. Today the bus couldn't travel because of the snow so we had even more walkers. 56 pupils walked to school today!
Ms Treacys class won the Golden Boot today. Because of the effort everyone put in the Green School Committee decided every class deserved a prize. A goodie bag was presented to each class and every pupil got a lucky dip from the bag. |
